External library paths are all valid, but scan still shows 0 pictures and videos
I am running Immich release ver on Arch Linux. I have configured the volume locations of all my external libraries in docker_compose.yml. Immich server shows all import paths are valid, and the storage space displayed is accurate, but no pictures or videos are importing.
docker exec -it immich_server ls /path/to/Pictures results in no error, but blank output when I think it should list the folders in that volume.6 Replies

Successfully submitted, a tag has been added to inform contributors. :white_check_mark:Looks like you use
Anonymous volumes: these only have a path inside the container.https://stackoverflow.com/questions/46166304/docker-compose-volumes-without-colon I suggest rewriting the
volumes: section according to
- https://docs.immich.app/guides/external-library/
- https://docs.immich.app/features/libraries/I have been staring at the external-library page for hours and somehow didn't notice they should be formatted /path/on/host:/path/in/container. I think this will work. I'll close the ticket if it does
Yep, that was it. Thank you so much for you help! Am I able to close it myself?
