this gnd net kinda hideous, how can i use a ground symbol? maybe a stupid question, but i'll ask anyway

you want to use ground symbols on all the capacitors instead of having them be connected is that right?
YES
i don't think we support that yet, we'd need to think of the right api for it
there is the ability to explicitly create labels, there is also the ability to modify the general schematic trace behavior

would it be something hard to add? maybe that can be my first contribution
