Extreme Lag for only one player and only on 1.21.10 server
I'm using a very small server with most players joining in from other world regions. However, one particular player has began to develop extreme lag (3000+) only after updating the server to 1.21.10. I'm not sure if this is just a coincidence or a culprit as no other player has any similar issue.
Heres the weird part:
- They also have no issue joining on any other server with only about 200 or so ping, and can use any other internet service without issue.
- On different times, their lag returns to how it was before the update.
Server Configurations:
- Entirely using Fabric
- No major or significant mods, mainly optimisation and tweaks like changing minecart and ghast speeds
Has anyone else encountered this problem or know any kind of solution about this?

Where exactly is this player located in relation to your server? If that player is the only player in a specific location then the connection between them and your server is likely just cooked
Northern Europe while I'm in Eastern Asia so its rather cooked already, but its bizarre since there wasn't such a problem prior to this
Typically, I would also assume its entirely an internet issue, but the problem solely seems to happen on the server

If you are running it off a host then you want to get them to run speedtests to the place to see the baseline
Right, they are connecting from Lithuania so roughly 200-300 ping for both me connecting to a speedtest server there as well as them joining the server, which is how it was before updating the server to 1.21.10
I would say the rough baseline is 240ms
If there's no problem for anyone else, it's not the servers fault. Try with a VPN, a different routing helped me before
