why tp to a hundo's coords if you can't catch it without setting off the cooldown?

ppl tell me to let the cooldown hit 0 before i do anything after teleporting but i see people post coords for hundos. isnt it risky to tp somewhere and catch that hundo right after you teleport?

You can do one out of 2 options: 1. Once you are done playing your usual pokemon go, keep the game off for 2 hours. Then after 2 hours, find a hundo coords (which hasn't despawned already), tp to that place, and catch the pokemon. 2. TP to a Hundo coord, start the catching phase but don't catch it. Make sure to keep the app in the RAM, in the same state, till the cooldown runs 0 (Likely 2 hours), and then get back into the app, feed a berry (very important), and catch the pokemon.

for the first one wouldn't tping to a hundo start a new cooldown all-together?

Nope, if 1. you haven't thrown a pokeball at a wild pokemon within 2 hours before tp. 2. Haven't fed a berry to a wild pokemon within 2 hours before tp. 3. Haven't spun a pokestop within 2 hours before tp. 4. Haven't participated in raid within 2 hours before tp.

Huh So if you go to sleep you can wake up hours later, tp to a hundo, catch it, and be good? I assume after you catch it then you’ll have a cooldown or can you still tp somewhere else?

Exactly! You will have a cooldown to tp again, but you can just play near the hundo location, spin pokestops, raid in gyms, etc.

So for the 2 hour rest period before tping to the hundo would I need to close the app entirely?

I just leave it like that and go play other games or do some other work.

Smart Can I have the normal and the spoofed pokemon go installed at the same time or does it not matter?

Rahul Sanap3w ago
Kinda. You don't want to trigger any actions that reset the cooldown.

Alright good to know

Rahul Sanap3w ago
Nah, you can't. It won't work that way.

That’s how I have it, I have my main on the normal and an alt on the spoof and it seems to be working fine but of course I don’t wanna do something wrong and mess up the accounts. Should I just delete the normal? Just in case?

It wouldn't mess it up, but sometimes apps like Campfire and Poke Genie get confused between them.

That makes sense, I don’t really use those apps so would it not matter in my scenario?

Yup, it wouldn't matter in your scenario. Though I love using Poke Genie to host raids. It would be helpful for you as well.

Good to know, just one last question Thank you for all your help, it’s helped me navigate around this a lot Should I just use my main on the spoof version?

If you haven't got any issues on your alt, then go ahead.

I’ve seen it says not suggested for main accounts but I figure if I use it to get a hundo once in a while then maybe it’s safe? Idk Alright thank you, I got the spoofer today so I haven’t faced any issues yet but I’ll keep testing it just to be sure before I switch it I appreciate you answering all my questions
