Dried out Doc Marten restoration
Hey all, good evening, I know this isn't really a question specifically suited to this discord server but I imagine a lot of people here have experience with leather care so I thought it would be a good place to ask. I have the possibility to buy some gaucho low doc 1461s at a pretty low price, as you can see in the pictures they are pretty clearly super dried out but as far as I can see the leather itself is in good condition. Was wondering if anyone had experience with rejuvenating a pair of shoes in similar condition, or knows that these is a pretty good chance that with some well-applied dubbin/oil these would come back to life and last for a few years? Thank youuu

Hi @grogmeister! For better answers, include:

- Budget in numbers
- Specific measurements
- Openness to buying secondhand and/or online

conditioning leather is a pretty easy process i dont think these need anything more than a good condition
this pair will last several more years with zero care
a bit of oil would help though
Very nice, thank you both, it's a great deal so I'm happy to hear it. I have solovair dubbin already but open to recommendations for not crazy expensive leather conditioners if you have any (and if you think the dubbin would be overkill)
lexol leather conditioner
dubbin is a waterproofer not a conditioner if i recall correctly
so wrong product to use entirely
