Am I doomed to never find clothes that fit?

As someone who is 167cm tall it seems that clothes are becoming more and more out of reach. It's getting to the point that even a "short" shirt like this one https://www.asket.com/en-no/mens-flannel-shirt-charcoal-melange is 70 cm long, which looks like a dress on me (at least going by the definition of "shirt should be mid zipper". I know of stuff like Ash And Erie etc but those require me to order from the US. Uniqlo doesn't deliver to Norway either. Even when I go back home, brands like Zara assume everyone is over 175 cm tall. Do I have to overpay for tailors forever?

I know your case is different, but I'm ~175 cm with a less than 34" chest and I've worn lots of 38" shirts and jackets without much fuss I just tuck my shirts in, keep the cuffs buttoned or roll the sleeves up And if I wear my shirts untucked, I treat them a bit like long jackets Oversized clothes are in fashion, anyways

Okay - two thoughts. Try tucking? And get stuff tailored of you want to.

Im shorter than you are, i just mix in some womens clothes and learn to do easy tailoring (ie: hemming) myself And tuck in shirts, yeah

I get my sleeves shortened or order shirts that have both collar and sleeve length options. Hemming trousers is pretty inexpensive. Thinking of tailors as “overpaying” for things isn’t a great mindset to have probably.

Fit is kinda lackadasical all over the board imo, you just have to get really good at trying stuff on in person when possible, working off measurements when its not

Buy your shirts on sale, or even better - go thrifting for shirts if you want to tailor a lot

You do not need a perfect fit measured in cm on every single item. You need stuff that looks good when you wear it together. The window for that is much wider than you think.

Personally I’d recommend checking women clothing brands for T shirts, their sizes tend to go a lot smaller and their T shirts are undistinguishable from men T-shirts 99% of the time so it could be a solution If not either try tucking (gives you extra style points if done right) or tailoring if you really wish for the perfect fit but that will come at a cost

some of the most fitted people in #waywt-highlights are your height or shorter. Tucking, wearing pants that arent super slim fit tapered, etc etc etc
