Lower resolution than monitor supports

bughardware-compat
I recently switched to Bazzite (dual boot on 2 seperate SSDs) from Nobara (also dual boot on 2 seperate SSDs). I had a lot of problems with Nobara, so I switched to Bazzite, hoping to have less issues with it.

Now I do have this problem, that I also had on Nobara. With a specific monitor, the resolution doesn't have an option to go above 2048x1152 (while the monitor supports 1440p). The first time I used this monitor with Bazzite, it worked perfectly fine, now when I start it today, it suddenly has this issue. This monitor worked fine for months on Nobara, but then also suddenly started having this issue.

I have a laptop with an external monitor. When I start into Windows, it has no issues. I also have another 1440p monitor somewhere else, which has had no problems at all.

Any suggestions on what this could be or what could solve it?
