How to change type of a standard or a not standard fields.
Hi i want to change type to an existing field. I can not see any possibility now excep of deactivating removing and re creating.
This process is almost ok if you do not have data in. Else you have to create a temp field move the data there from the old field and then delete the old field and rename the temp field to the initial name.
In case of a standard field like you can not destroy the column.
Example i want the Job Title to be select type. I can not use Job Title case it is preserved and i can not delete the initial free text field
