PC Freeze on sleep
hey everyone
i recently switched over to bazzite from windows and im having some issues with having the pc go to sleep. whenever it does go to sleep, the entire computer freezes. holding the power button does nothing, and i have to do a full power cycle to get it back into working order
some chatgpt research says that its a hardware issue with my setup,
and suggested that i switch over to s2idle
i was wondering if anyone has any better ideas? i dont especially want to mess with config files unless necessary
sorry that this isnt strictly bazzite related, but it's the first place i've thought of to ask
thanks!
some info:
CPU: RYZEN 7 5800X
GPU: RADEON 7800XT
MOBO: GIGABYTE B550M AORUS ELITE
the boot drive is encrypted and secure boot is on if that affects anything

Solution
since you are using a B550 motherboard, you might need this fix: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Power_management/Suspend_and_hibernate#PC_will_not_wake_from_sleep_on_A520I_and_B550I_motherboards
