Desktop Mode or Gaming Mode?
Hi everyone. I have bought a new gaming PC with a RX9070. I have been using the Bazzite desktop for a couple of weeks and I am really happy.
I have a monitor and a TV connected. I work on my monitor and then when I want to play I start big picture mode in steam and turn off my monitor so the output goes directly to my TV.
A friend of mine told me that installing the Game Mode version is much better to play and If I want to use my computer to work I can switch to the desktop mode so I can install my apps and work.
Is the Game mode really important if I use my computer majority for playing and just working a little?
Can I install apps by homebrew if I choose to exit to the desktop and use them as I am using now? I am afraid of not getting the best experience on my PC.
I work most of the time using Google Drive so formatting the drive and installing the Game mode version is not a problem.
