DH crashing Prism Launcher

ive been getting ram messages above my health bar telling me about the ram usage being maxed, i have 64gb of ram and dedicating at least 6 gb to a max of 8gb for me and my friends, but my linux kernal is killing prism for taking too much memory, what setting do i tweak or what version do i gotta swap too?
