Random frame drops in games
Hello all! Just started using Bazzite a few weeks ago and it is great. Definitely my best Linux experience so far as a beginner trying to get away from Windows. Something I am noticing, though, is that when I'm playing games, they'll randomly have frame dips. Like the game be running totally fine but then will freeze for a second or two and then the picture just shifts. Mainly happens when moving the camera or if something kinda quick happens in a cutscene. When using the Steam overlay, I'm noticing the number next to the arrow facing down turns red and sometimes will go down to the 30s and then shoot back up. A few examples of games this is happening in is Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Yooka-Replaylee and Megabonk. I'm running a 7800X3D CPU. Was using a 7900XTX GPU but am now running a 9070XT.
