Docstrings not visible to editor

Hi, I'm not sure if I've done something incorrect in my discord js installation, but there appear to be no docs attached to the type definitions. It does appear to exist on the source code in the package though.
Is there a way to get the jsdoc for discordjs in my editor? It's kind of annoying to have to refer to the source code in github for this.

VSCode, and to be honest any package I install with docs just has them attached already. Even within djs, the stuff that comes from the discord-api-typesdiscord-api-types package has docs on the type definitions

It does, for some things, but it would be nice to have in the editor as well. Is it possible to do that or is this not possible to do?

if that was done then it'd have to be done by some kind of tooling, otherwise it'd be a maintainer nightmare

But fair enough, it's not overly laborious to use the doc website. If it's an architectural issue then no biggie

it's not that the team is particularly fond of writing with js instead of ts

but the codebase is fairly big, with some parts not being as straightforward as "adding types"
