We use an FX30 as our main studio camera. It is recording at 4K60 at 200Mbps in MP4. When I put the files on my PC, Windows Media Player can not play back the footage at all, says it uses an unsupported codec. I installed VLC Media Player because I've heard it can play ANYTHING. Well, it can not play the footage from our FX30 without constant stuttering. The only way I can scrub the clips to find out what they are, is by putting them in Premier Pro, but then I can't rename the clips because they are open in PP. I've somehow made everything more complicated by trying to improve quality, and all it did was make my workflow ten times longer. I could really use a suggestion on how to get myself out of this predicament. Honestly, just want to know why VLC Media Player isn't working. I've heard all over that it is THE BEST media player and I'm struggling to see how. Please Help!
