(ii) c N has methyl on it, this would electron donating effect, right? so most basic would be c?

so it is gonna be the least basic
can check pka values to be sure
1st is d>c>b>a ??
it should be I think d>b>c>a as the other nitrogen in (c) part has -I effect towards the first nitrogen, so it would be less basic than (b)
but dont we have more e- from LP of N for donation in c?
what sir said here; we know both the nitrogens are not in resonance with the ring but both have e- withdrawing, i.e, -I effect on each other which reduces its basicity
