Heroic does not detect gamescope

Hi,
I already used Fedora but switched to Bazzite. I installed Overwatch and ran it through gamescope for HDR, which worked great. Then I installed Heroic and it does not detect gamescope. I tried to install the Flatpak of gamescope (I think it was version 23) but it still did not detect it, so I removed it again.
Now I'm trying to play Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. I also wanted to use HDR and I stumbled across Steam TinkerLaunch and installed it with ProtonPlus to "easily" set up gamescope. Now when I launch Rift Apart with gamescope, I get an error that my GPU does not get found, and in Overwatch I just have a black screen with the game sound in the background.
I've got an NVIDIA 2070 Super and gamescope is on version ba147+ (gcc 15.2.1). journalctl said gamescope did find the gpu: steam[199744]: [gamescope] [Info] vulkan: selecting physical device 'NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER': queue family 2 (general queue family 0)
Did I do something major wrong? or is this just Linux/NVIDIA quirkiness
