EXE launched in prefix: launch from outside of Heroic?

I'm using Mod Organizer 2 for some games. It's very inconvenient to use the "launch EXE from prefix" option as Heroic doesn't even save the last-used folder. I could also add MO2 as a custom EXE, but then Heroic starts tracking its usage as game time. Is there a way to create a script or desktop entry for MO2 to be launched inside Heroic's game prefix?
