Steam menu crash

Hi everyone, I’m having that issue where, while I’m in game I press the Xbox button on the controller and the steam menu doesn’t work properly. Sometimes show a black screen like the one in the picture, other time only a completely black screen. Sometimes I’m able to re-enter the game by pressing again the button other times I can’t do nothing and have to reboot the pc manually.
It is really frustrating, there’s a solution? I’ve already enabled all composite setting in dev settings on steam.
