Migrating from cachyos and use existing /home
heya, i recently ditched win11.... i decided to use cachyos to start, it seemed the best for now. however i have been having some issues with my nvidia card that i dont really want to be faffing about with.
ive used bazzite for my ROG Ally X and i love it. i want move my desktop to that too, but i dont want to set everthing up from scratch again, which is why i set up a seperate /home partition.
if i remember correctly bazzite is a immutable os, so installing stuff like samba and such to host my shared files may be a bit of a pain but as long as its stable and does not give me trouble with my nvidia gpu i will deal. but first i want to be sure i can use my btrfs formated /home drive. thanks!

Solution
Samba shares work with a bit of tweaking, you don't need to layer anything, but I don't think you can carry your partition because Bazzite places your home directory in
/var/home
