It would also be nice if were could use the persist-to flag when running vite like wrangler. I often have to run symlinks to local D1 to get around this for local vite, where my wrangler workers on the same D1 can use persist-to for the same local state.

this would be ideal, many already have workarounds for this, but i see a lot of people confused about local state and multiple workers

yes, having centralized data would be pretty neat since you could run different workers and they'd use the same data, exactly like they do in production ð

and I don't see sepcific downsides with this approach (besides needing to be mindful of needing to cleanup the data)

I think we should look into this, I'll bring it up to the team again and see if we can maybe prioritize this ð

well thats handy, and would ideally be better if it was discoverable in reverse when reading up on persist-to in the wrangler docs, since it seems to have the same goal in mind
