The Database Point-in-Time Recovery feature is not functioning correctly, and this has caused a critical loss of data. No matter which timestamp I select for recoveryâeven across multiple timingâthe system always restores to the exact same point, resulting in an 8-hour gap of missing data that I am now unable to recover.
I have already attempted multiple restorations, including replicating to new databases at various time frames, but the issue persists. All restored instances stop at the same incorrect timestamp, and my log records clearly confirm that the recovery process does not honour the selected time at all.
This is extremely urgent and highly frustrating. The system is failing at one of its most important functionsâreliable point-in-time recoveryâand it is putting my data integrity at serious risk. I need immediate assistance to resolve this issue.
