Server not sending LOD payload to client

I have Distant Horizons 2.3.6b-1.21.10 installed on my own dedicated Fabric server, and the same version is installed on my client. No other mods besides the Fabric API are installed.

Currently, my render distance is pinned to the vanilla render distance—that is to say, LODs are not being rendered at all. The reasoning behind this is fairly easy to make out from Minecraft's logs (see attached): an assertion failure at FullDataPayloadReceiver.java:61. However, I am unsure of the cause.

This issue does not occur in singleplayer.
