NordVPN Obfuscated OpenVPN

Im having an issue getting NordVPN to work specifically with obfuscated servers. I can confirm traditional servers work fine and connect without issues. Nothing about the process was changed between the two, I am using OpenVPN configuration files straight from NordVPN since I can't do the Git clone method that steamOS uses.
I simply downloaded two different obfuscated server's config straight from Nord, put the correct credentials and it just never connects. After about 30 seconds it says it timed out. I tried the same with two traditional servers and they connect without issue.
Is there a way to get a GUI like SteamOS/Cachy/OS/arch based systems or a way to resolve this while still using OpenVPN?
