Mixed Vendor eGPU Support
Since Bazzite images are targeted toward a specific GPU I've found myself in a fringe case that is souring the experience. I'm looking to run Bazzite off of ROG Ally X's for my wife and I, and the experience has been fantastic on that end. The issue is we have NVIDIA eGPUs that we dock to via Thunderbolt that we can't seem to get running properly. Specifically these are the XG Mobile 5070ti models. We originally purchased them since we travel alot and like the convenience of sliding them into a bag to bring to our in-law's or a hotel.
Attempted solutions:
-Installing drivers manually worked briefly until a reboot then it will crash when running to an external display through the eGPU.
-Attempting to rebase to an NVIDIA image didn't work.
-Forcing the eGPU via all-ways-egpu didn't work either for external display or internal, nor desktop or Steam Gaming Mode.
If I had a timemachine I'd go back and skip the NVIDIA eGPUs for an AMD set up, but I'd like to avoid the hassle of trying to sell these off and rebuilding. Any best practices for running Bazzite in this case with both AMD & NVIDIA?
