Storage Image transformation not working

I am on a Pro plan and want to use the image transformation, but no matter how I try it - via the JavaScriot SDK or directly passing

?width=500&height=600

?width=500&height=600

to the URL, it always returns the image in the original size and the original format (JPEG). I use a custom domain. Can this be the reason for it?
