I was try to find a solution with the AI and it told me to ask some humans.
At this point, my honest recommendation is:
Contact Gadget support and tell them:
You're using a managed Shopify install
The scopes in your TOML aren't being synced to Shopify
The OAuth screen only shows "View personal data" and "Store owner" instead of the product/inventory scopes
They'll know exactly how their managed install system works and can either fix the sync or tell you the correct way to add scopes for a managed development app.
I apologize that we haven't been able to solve this - it seems like a limitation or bug in how Gadget's managed install handles scopes.😱
