Failed to write bootloader Config
Hello, I hope someone here can help me. I've been trying to install Bazzite with dual boot on my PC all day today. However, I keep getting the error message shown in the title.
What hardware are you using?
Desktop
Who is the vendor of your primary GPU?
Nvidia (RTX Series)
What desktop environment do you prefer?
KDE
Do you want Steam Gaming Mode?
No
I have tried all the tips I could find on the internet.
I originally started with âBalena Etcherâ to write the image to my stick. That worked so far, but then I couldn't select EFI when creating the partitions. I then used âRufusâ and set GPT there as well. From then on, I only got the error message from the title. Regardless of whether I used KDE or GNOME (with or without Steam Gaming Mode), it simply would not get past the error. I also tried the tip about setting the time in UEFI/BIOS. It doesn't matter whether I create a user or use the default, or whether I enter the time manually. Automatic installation on the NVME simply does not work either. Updating the UEFI firmware (ROG Strix x570-f Gaming to version 5031 [last stable one]) did not improve the situation. Every time the installation failed, I had to reset my clock in the UEFI again.
CSM is disabled.
Secure boot is disabled.
Fast boot is disabled.
Background information on my system:
Motherboard: ROG Strix X570-F Gaming
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
RAM: 64GB
2x NVMe with 2TB each
1 NVMe has Windows 11 on it
2 NVMe should be for Bazzite
1x SSD with 6TB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090
I tried all tips from here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bazzite/comments/1h93mvd/bazzite_failed_to_write_boot_loader_configuration/
Any further ideas?
Thank you in advance.

Solution
Solution was:
- Clean the full NVMe and create a fresh GPT
- After that a fresh Installation is working
