New User concerns/questions
Hello all, I'm a new user to Linux in general. I couldn't seem to find a precise answer to my question, so, here we are.
Tldr; installed bazzite, played a bit, did a full shut down. Black screen after boot up with motherboard logo w/bazzite logo. Used terminal to get to the desktop, reset steam. Repeat the process every shut down?
I have just put together my first, actual, gaming pc, and decided to try and get steamos working. The short of it, I couldn't, so I got bazzite. I wanted the steamos experience/visual, so I went through the filtering on the website to get the appropriate image.
The installation process went through without issue, got steam running, installed a few games, they worked, played a bit, then I did a shut down from the menu and went to sleep.
I woke up earlier, turned on the PC, saw the start up logo with the bazzite logo, and nothing. Considering it's brand new, it shouldn't be taking this long to boot into what I thought was a successful install. I used the terminal/commands to get into the desktop, and reset steam since it wasn't opening when I tried opening it.

- I'm new to Linux, but, is this something I have to do every time I shut down? I can do it, but it's really annoying.
- Did I mess up the installation somewhere? As mentioned, it didn't give me any hassle, unlike steamos, throughout the process. There wasn't even an error at the aforementioned black screen.
- Was it supposed to boot into a login screen, since I did make an account during the install process?
