waydroid not working with vulkan

Using a 5700 xt and a 3080; i selected the 5700xt and tried both amdgpu and radeon in waydroid config, and the game is still saying that its “unable to run on this device because it dosent support vulkan”. Im pretty sure this gpu supports vulkan so i have no clue why its not working :(
