Red Dead Redemption 2 (Epic) Won't Start on Heroic Launcher (Zorin OS)
Hello.
Using the Heroic Games Launcher, I logged into my Epic Games account and downloaded RDR2 from my library.
When I launch the game for the first time with the "Play Now (With Logs)" button, the Rockstar Launcher installer appears. I complete the installation, and after clicking the "Finish" button, the installer closes.
After that, when I try to launch the game again from Heroic using the "Play Now (With Logs)" button, the button's text changes to "Launching" and stays that way for 3-4 seconds. Then, it changes to "Playing (Stop)" for another 5-6 seconds, and finally, it reverts back to "Play Now (With Logs)".
In short, when I try to launch the game, nothing appears on screen, and the process seems to close by itself.
I would really appreciate any help you can offer. I've spent hours on this and have tried multiple solutions, but my problem remains unsolved. I have now reverted all my attempted fixes to report the issue in its original state, as I first experienced it.
