How to make an API Cursor friendly?

I have to build an API that will be used by brokers. It will allow them to submit finance applications and monitor them. In the past I would create an API + integration guide and api docs and call it done.
Now I am thinking how would I make integrating as easy as pasting in a prompt to Cursor?
Has anyone here done this or read about others doing this? I would love to hear y’all ideas and experiences.
