Distant Horizons w/ Chunky

MC 1.20.xIm currently pregenerating a server world with chunky to help reduce lag for explorers (super heavy modpack) and im seeing conflicting information about whether or not I can use distant horizons. I had distant horizons on the server for about the first 600k chunks or so and most of the LODs did not generate. Can I delete the LOD files and then reinstall DH after chunky is done and generate the LODs for all the existing chunks that chunky made? using DH v2.3.6-b
