Fog Falloff / Fog Density doesn't seem to be working

MC 1.21.xForge/NeoforgeHi, I was trying to make DH fog increase a little slower with distance but those options don't seem to affect anything, anything I could do?
I am playing on NeoForge 1.21.1, singleplayer and only DH is installed (currently on 2.4.0-b, although the same thing was happening in 2.3.6-b).
I have attached an image with the other fog settings I was using and also 4 images with fog Falloff / Density set as: Linear, 0.01; Linear, 50.0; Exponential Squared, 0.01; Exponential Squared, 50.0, where you can see there is no change.
