SMB issues (?)
Hi! I don't know whether its a Windows LAN share issue or Samba is acting up, but I have a problem:
The background: I have a very basic server running on Windows 11 inside my network which I use for saving photos from time-to-time using Windows Folder Share and Samba inside Dolphin on the Bazzite side.
The problem: Nearly all the times when I move files to the server using Dolphin on Bazzite it ask for my password I use on the server to log in. It would not be the problem on its own as it autofills it, but no matter how many times I press "OK" on it, it infinitely brings that login window back up and the files aren't moving to the server. Sometimes it moves like 5 files stops the other then brings it up, sometimes it does not move any. It also does it randomly whenever I just simply try to browse the files. It brings up the red bar at the top (Access denied: smb://{path to folder}).
What I tried: On the Win11 server password protected share is off, the PC is visible in the local network, and the read and write permission is granted to LAN connections. On Bazzite, I set up the connection correctly, checked every path, deleted and re-done folder connections, nothing helped.
Can anyone help me? I'm basically going insane by this simple thing not working properly and I feel like I am the idiot not seeing something obvious. Thank you in advance!
