Encountering problems with Cyberpunk 2077, missing nvidia libs

Hi, I've been daily driving Bazzite for a bit over a month now. I had an install of cyberpunk that was working flawlessly, but when I tried it again today I can't even make it to the main menu.
The setup is as follows. Bought the game through GOG, installed it through heroic, and linked that prefix to Steam as a non-steam game. That worked for about 50 hours of gameplay.
I already tried different versions of proton, and a rollback of bazzite. When I launch steam through terminal it logs errors about missing nvidia libs. When I launch it through heroic, it works normally. But I'm trying to understand what broke the steam layer. Other games on steam and proton work fine still.
I already tried throwing AI at the problem but it has not been very helpful since the way I installed it is not a standard use case.
