case 1 :
Va - iR -Vc = 0
5 = iR
Ve = Vc = 0
so Vd = 0 but not possible since case 1 is Vout >5

case 2 :
wire with D1 breaks
and then same yada yada . here we can say Vout = 0 snce we considered it less than 5
