immich_postgres permissions error with default setup on MergerFS

I'm trying to install Immich and am running into an issue where immich_postgres gets stuck in a boot loop. Based on what I've read here and based on the logs, it probably has something to do with either my filesyustem or a permissions error. I am using the default .yml and .env files, with the exception that I edited the .env file to be "release" instead of v2.
Since I think it has something to do with my file system, here are a few more details:
I have an SSD and 2 HDDs (which I will incrementally add to). The SSD has the OS (Proxmox with no VMs) and a partition to use as a cache with bcache. The HDDs are backed up with SnapRAID and pooled with MergerFS. At their base, the HDDs are using EXT4 and the SSD is using an LVM group.
Since it might have something to do with permissions, I will upload a file with that
