Riot Client Bug?

I have been having an issue for about a week now. When I try to open Valorant via my shortcut nothing happens. I then proceed to go to my task manager and end the Riot Client program and poof! I can open Valorant again. Please can anyone tell me what the heck is happening? And its not inconsistant. Every morning I get on and I have to do this song and dance with my game. Is it worth reinstalling? Thoughts?
