bazzite outputs Via HDMI a 4:3 Signal

I recently (In the last 48 hours) installed Bazzite to my laptop. In computer years it pretty ancient as it's got a GTX 1050 in it, but for some reason it outputs the signal to a 4:3 when I plug it into my TV or through my Elgato capture HD60S. (Which recently has just said no and given me a black screen.

I'm thinking that the drivers aren't for the 1050 and would like to seek help in this matter.

As far as drivers go, you just need to make sure you're on the correct image. Open a terminal, enter

rpm-ostree status

rpm-ostree status

and post the results here. That will show us what image you're on and if you're up to date

Other than that, I assume you've already tried checking the display settings to make sure it is set to a (presumably) 16:9 resolution?

Before doing anything, try rebooting. You're currently on a version that's almost two months old, rebooting will bring you into the latest stable

when i reboot, it freezes on start up. I've been instructed by a friend to assisted me in the install, to hit F12 and go into the boot menu and go from "0" to "1" (I can't recall exactly what it says before hand)

1 is the previous deployment (presumably the one that you initially installed), and 0 is the latest deployment

Every time I go into 0 though it hangs on the boot screen

Just tried booting into 0 and it isn't moving from the boot screen. It's just says "Dell" with the bazzite logo gone.

After a fresh reinstall of bazzite, I can't log into the Version 0 with the most recent/latest updates.

I think if memory serves me correctly, I think it's the NVIDIA card that's in my laptop that's giving me issues by not allowing it to be seen in the "0" half of the install
