Audio not working on fresh install
Hello all. I'm trying to set up Bazzite for the first time and running into an issue where in most situations my audio is completely nonexistent. Details as follows:
- When it does work: When I'm using my Steelseries Arctis 9 headset.
- **When it does *not* work**: When using any other audio device, in particular when routing my audio through my monitors connected to a Scarlett 18i8 audio interface.
- Install details: This is release 43.20251210.1 of Bazzite. I'm working on a ROG Strix B-550F motherboard (with the good old I-225V ethernet controller that's a separate issue, of course). I've made very few modifications and to be honest I'm very new to Linux, so I'm not really sure what to try here. I have a W10 install on a separate hard drive and I know there's some interference because I have to open Scarlett Mixcontrol every time I go back to W10 or else the mixer won't work, but I don't know much more than that.
What I've tried: - Changing audio settings via the main menu/default options (upper right). No change, regardless of choice
- Changing audio settings via alsamixer. No change
- Unmuting everything via alsamixer. No change
- Going back to W10. This works as long as (as stated above) I reopen Scarlett Mixcontrol at least once to reset whatever Bazzite is trying to do so that W10 can use it again.
