Cooler Control doesn't seem to be working when in game mode

When I switch to game mode, Cooler Control doesn't seem to be enabled and setting my curves. To test, I went into desktop mode and set my GPU fan to 100%, then when I went back into game mode, the GPU fan went back down, implying that Cooler Control has been disabled. Anyway to get it working while in game mode?
