Fallout 3: GOTY (Epic/ Linux Mint) doesn't start

it tells me that the current status is "Playing (stop)" but the game never boots up. After some time the orange button becomes green and it asks me if I want to launch the game again. Idk what could be the issue. Can someone please help! Thank you :333
