All games on Steam display "Disk write error" on dual boot, BTRFS drive
Hello! Fresh Bazzite install, hoping someone can give me a hand with this error. I'm coming from a Windows 11 install, and I've partitioned one disk into two in hopes of jumping between both operating systems while keeping only one shared Steam game library.
- Drive A
- Windows, 512GB, NTFS. Unchanged.
- Drive B
- Data, 2TB, NTFS. Unchanged.
- Drive C
- bazzite_bazzite, 512GB, BTRFS. Defaults on Bazzite instalation used.
- Games, 1.5GB, formatted from NTFS to BTRFS for compatibility reasons. The game library is hosted on /SteamLibrary.
Installed games on the shared Steam library will open correctly on Windows, but trying to open any of them through Bazzite, the same error (An error occurred while launching this game : Disk write error) can be seen, no matter the opened game. If a game is installed in bazzite_bazzite it will open correctly, but I do not want two separate libraries if I can avoid it. I am currently able to read and write files and folders to this disk through Dolphin.
If I can provide any logs that'll help debug this further, please let me know.
