I've successfully linked my google drive account to KDE, so I can now see and edit the files within dolphin What I don't understand however is what the path of this folder is. When I try to "copy the location" of a file within google drive, it gives me something like
gdrive:/google7/file
gdrive:/google7/file
. But when I simply try to
cp gdrive:/google7/file /home/bazzite/file
cp gdrive:/google7/file /home/bazzite/file
I get an error. I need this to create an automation tool with a bash script to upload certain files without doing it manually everytime
bonus : if what I want (access cloud storage within dolphin and with command line) is possible with something else than google drive, please tell me
Solution
I use
rclone sync
rclone sync
to move files to/from a google drive folder and a local folder. Every few weeks I need to re-authenticate, but as far as I know it's possible to fix that
