Audio delay on HDMI

I have my AMD PC (RX 580 series) with Bazzite (gaming mode) plugged into a Vizio TV connected to a 5.1 audio system via eARC. The PC connects to the audio system fine via Bluetooth but with HDMI/DisplayPort it will be delayed if no audio is playing. When there is background music it works fine, but if it is silent and starts playing something, it will be delayed. It’s running Bazzite 43.20251210.1, although the same problem occurs on Bazzite 42. Are there any fixes for this?
