Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II returns "Error: Cannot get game info"

I am trying to reinstall the GOG version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords with Heroic, but I can't, because whenever I try to view the game's entry in Heroic, the app will simply show an error message "Error: Cannot get game info".
I had not encountered this issue when I installed Knights of the Old Republic II previously, nor am I having such issue with other GOG games, including the first Knights of the Old Republic game.
