Is it possible to make a block optional?

I'm looking for a way to make a block optional (so that providing an email address is voluntary). It seems this isn’t possible yet, or did I miss a setting?
At the moment, I'm using a question and two buttons first to ask only for the email address if the user agreed in the previous step. But making a block optional would be much more elegant.
