WiFi doesn't work after Bazzite update
I was hoping someone out there has a potential solution or suggestion. I'm a very new Linux user moving over from Windows and seeking some guidance to resolve my WiFi card issue. Upon initial install, this is what version of Bazzite I'm working on:
Operating System: Bazzite 42
KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0
Qt Version: 6.9.2
Kernel Version: 6.16.4-116.bazzite.fc42.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
In this version, I can see the WiFi card detected (which is an ASUS PCE-AC68 WiFi card) and displays this within Info Center and functions without issue:
3: wlp7s0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc fq_codel state UP group default qlen 1000
After performing the update, this is what is displayed under system information:
Operating System: Bazzite 43
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0
Qt Version: 6.10.1
Kernel Version: 6.17.7-ba20.fc43.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
This is what is displayed in Info Center post update under network interfaces for the WiFi Card:
3: wlp7s0: <NO-CARRIER,BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc fq_codel state DORMANT group default qlen 1000
Going into system monitor displays an error for networking information, and when clicking the networking option it searches for wifi without any feedback. I did my best to see if there was anyone else with my particular issue but I can't seem to find anyone. I also tried to see if Bazzite had a device manager like some other distros have so I can switch up drivers to a functional driver but I don't see one, and to be honest I don't know what I'm doing or where to start. I appreciate anyone who can help. Thanks in advance!
