Looking for Bazzite Optimization tips!

What are some good bazzite optimizations to help not clog up memory? Currently have 16 gigs of memory (pre-built). I just installed Bazzite a few days ago so far it isn't looking so hot performance wise compared to windows. Just discord alone already chugs things up to the point of uninstalling it! please and thank you
