rpi5 signal k can't connect to cerbo GX (venus.local)

I have openplotter & signal K running on a Rpi5 with aMacArthur hat to gather data from N2K, teperature/pressure sensors around the boat and the data from the Cerbo GX (which is running Venus Large).
The signal k venus.local data connection is found and was working, but for the last few days it reports an error on the dashbord of "connect EHOSTUNREACH 192.168.1.227:3000"
I can connect to venus.local:3000 via a browser window as normal.
The Rpi5 and cerbo are both connected to the same wifi network & I've also tried connecting them via an ethernet cable/network switch but still no connection.
At the moment I have the data coming into the Pi via the VRM connection method, but ideally want it all on the local network so it will run when the internet(starlink) is not connected.
I've also remapped many of the signal k paths to better suit my needs so REALLY don't want to have to redo all those mappings.
The Pi, Cerbo and router have been rebooted seversal times.....

Any suggestions on how to get the venus.local connection up again?

Thanks
Mitch C
